Even though the woman was crying for help, the villagers in sight simply rubbernecked.
Frank smirked, but he knew he could not fault the villagers for being callous. They were refraining from meddling in another family's matter, not to mention that they might get caught in a misunderstanding and even get chased out of the village.

And just as Frank had predicted, he was no tough nut and fled as soon as he saw that he had no chance against Frank.
"It's alright now..." Frank turned to assure the woman, only for her face to fall before she turned to flee.
Frank smiled in wry amusement-this face should not be that intimidating since he was not keeping his usual look, so why did she look so spooked? Whatever. To each their own-they could do anything they liked.
Nheless, the man returned ten minutes later, with several other men who looked like him, carrying shovels and pickaxes.
This time, the man was exceedingly pompous, believing in the strength of numbers that he would definitely beat Frank. "You brat! You like meddling, huh?! Even so, the man strode up and argued, "It's not like we want to gang up on him-he's just that despicable! Just think about it: I'm handling my own family matters! What right does he have to meddle?!" en.kikistories Will simply snorted. "Why shouldn't he? You were ready to hit your wife-and you're a fortyish man at that! Can't you act your age at once?!" The man, Hadron, sighed in exasperation. "So I just have to let it slide?!" "Let it slide? No. It's your punishment!" Will smirked. "Now fuck off, or I'll do the sto you!"
