Chapter 1892 When Harold saw what was going on, his face turned as dark as a storm cloud.

With a loud thud, Harold slammed his book onto the table. Sophie and the guy both jumped, clearly taken aback. They had no clue what Harold was up to.

Harold shot a fierce glare at the guy across from Sophie. Feeling the heat, the guy turned to Sophie and awkwardly asked, "Is this... your friend?" Sophie, seeing Harold's intense expression, felt her temper flare up. "Harold, what's your problem?" Harold ignored her, plopping down next to Sophie like he was marking his territory. "I'm her brother," he declared.

"Uh, nice to meet you, brother," the guy stammered, looking pretty shaken by Harold.

Harold cut him off, "I'm not your brother, and you need to back off from my sister. It really bugs me." The guy's face fell even more. "I'm sorry! Really sorry!" he blurted before practically running out of there. Once he was gone, Harold let out a dismissive snort. "What's with your taste in friends? Getting cozy with a guy like that?" Sophie's face darkened. "What do you know? He's a friend from high school!" "Sophie, you're not fooling anyone! Who did you even go to high school with? I don't remember this guy." Harold and Sophie had gone to the shigh school, and Harold had never seen this guy before.

"He's an upperclassman from my club, alright?" Sophie snapped, clearly fuming. "I'm done talking to you!" With that, she got up and left, not even bothering to finish her meal. Harold was quick on her heels. "Sophie! Stop right there and explain what you mean by 'done talking to me'!" He kept up with her all the way to the academic building. Once they got there, Sophie finally stopped. She faced Harold, looking more upset than ever, and said, "I really don't get you. What's eating you? You've 've been ignoringsince this morning, and now you're all over the place. Didn't I apologize enough last night?" Harold looked at Sophie, momentarily stunned. Usually, once Sophie apologized, things were back to normal, and he'd let it go. But today was different. Why was he so ticked off? Even Harold couldn't put his finger on why he felt this way. Seeing Sophie about to cry, he suddenly remembered the last the'd made her cry-it was when they were kids.

he gently wiped away the tears from her eyes. "Alright, stop@ying. It's my bad "No way!" Sophie turned her head away, clearly still fuming.

"Okay, then what do you wantto do?" Harold frowned: "Just say the word, and I'll do it if it makes you happy." "If it makeshappy?" "Yes, if it makes you happy."

Seeing Harold's sincere attitude, Sophie's anger finally cooled. Trying to play it cool, she said, well... Well... letthink about it. I'll let you know once I've decided." Hearing this, Harold let out a sigh of relief.
