In the soft light of early morning, the sun's rays poured onto the pillow, gently waking Lenora from her sleep. She
turned her gaze toward the other side of the large bed, where the sheets lay perfectly undisturbed, not a wrinkle
in sight. As memories of yesterday flooded
Chapter 467 If Zachary Knew
her mind, she instinctively caressed her abdomen.
I'm pregnant! I'm not dreaming.
The thought of the news brought a genuine joy to her face, radiating from deep within. Her lips curved into an
effortless smile, and a spark of light danced in her eyes.
| bet Zachary will be overjoyed once he finds out! | can't wait to tell him!
After breakfast, however, Zachary still hadn't returned.
Assuming he had gone straight to the company from the Fuller residence, Lenora got into the car with Harrietta,
holding her ultrasound report.
The driver first dropped Harrietta off at the kindergarten before heading to Fuller Tower with Lenora. Little did
Lenora know, as soon as she left the kindergarten, someone arrived to pick up Harrietta.
At Fuller Group, the receptionist's face brightened with a warm smile as Lenora approached. "Ms. Wilkin, you're
here to see Mr. Fuller, aren't you? Unfortunately, he's not in the office at the moment." Lenora was stunned. "Did
he cand then leave, or did he not cat all?"
"He didn't come," the receptionist answered.
Just a while ago, someone clooking for Zachary. The receptionist had called the director's office.
Lenora glanced at the ton her phone, a faint frown tugging at her brow. At this hour, unless there were
special plans, it was unlike Zachary to not have arrived at the office yet.
She made her way to the corner of the hall and dialed his number.
After about ten seconds of ringing, the call connected.

Zachary's deep voice resonated from the other end. "Hello, Nora?"
Lenora asked right away, "Where are you right now?"
There was a brief pause before he replied, "At the office. What do you need?"
Lenora raised an eyebrow, sneering inwardly. Good. He's learned to lie to my face. | swear I'll give him a piece of
my mind when | see him later!
"It's nothing important. We can talk about it when you return," she said.
He said hesitantly after a pause, "Nora, | might have to go on a business trip soon. If you need anything, just call
Miles."
"All right. You go ahead with your work," Lenora said coldly, ending the call. Without missing a beat, she dialed
Miles' number.
As soon as the call connected, Lenora didn't give Miles a chance to speak. "Zachary just toldhe's going on a
business trip soon."
Miles paused for a moment and eventually responded, "Yes."
"Is he going to Acocester or Sparaville?" Lenora asked.
Miles hesitated before choosing one at random. "Sparaville."
""Are you sure?"
Lenora's tone carried a subtle edge, and Miles quickly picked up on it. "Ah, my mistake. It's Acocester."
"But he just toldhe was heading to Bloudence. Mr. Lancaster, you've been sloppy at work lately. Have you
found another job? If you no longer wish to stay with Fuller Group, | can speak to Zachary for you."
"No, no! Ms. Wilkin, I'm sorry. I've made a mistake! But I've never thought of quitting!" Miles quickly explained,
frustrated. I'm doing this for Mr. Fuller. I'm sure he'll understand!
Lenora knew Zachary wasn't lying when Miles didn't correct her. He doesn't have any business trips scheduled at
all. Miles is covering for him!
Lenora couldn't help but remember the last tshe had been rescued from Folask. Zachary had distanced
himself from her, even claiming he was away on a business trip. But as she pieced together sclues, she
went to his office, only to find him with Susanna.
That was all part of a schorchestrated by Zachary, though. Now, once again, he was avoiding her.
Did he encounter sdifficulties
again? No. That's impossible. He promisedthat if he ever encountered any difficulties again, he would never
hide it from her. But it's hard to say for sure. Zachary's words never hold any weight can't trust him. To know
what's going on, | better meet him in person. I'm sure he won't dare to lie to my face. He must probably still be
at the Fuller residence.
Without hesitation, Lenora returned to the car and instructed the driver to change course to the Fuller residence.
From a distance, she spotted a Maserati parked in front of the house. The license plate was unmistakable-she
recognized it immediately. Just a few days ago, she had smashed the windshield of that very car. It could only
mean one thing: Isla was here. Lenora recalled that Zachary had once told her Isla visited Allison at the Fuller
residence using Tamara's name. Tamara was now at the Fuller residence, too.
But what on earth happened that made Zachary avoid me?
Lenora instructed the driver to stop the car a few dozen meters from the house, then got out and made her way
on foot. She also cautioned the driver not to alert Zachary.
The door to the living room of the
Fuller residence was slightly ajar. Lenora moved quietly to the entrance, where she overheard Tamara's voice
from inside. "Zack the DNA test results are right here. You personally sent someone to retrieve them and
entrusted them to DP. Landon, someone you trust. It clearly states that Hattie is your daughter, and Isla is her
mother. You should believe it now, right?"
Tamara's words struck Lenora like a bolt of lightning. Her mind buzzed, stunned as if it had been electrically
jolted. Despite the peak of summer, an icy chill seemed to envelop her entire body, as if a sharp, cold wind were
slicing through her bones. Did | hear that correctly? Hattie is Zachary and Isla's daughter? Zachary's biological
daughter?

The situation seemed so absurd and outrageous, yet Lenora couldn't bring herself to dismiss it as a lie. No
wonder Hattie shared certain features with Zachary. No wonder Tamara had such a change of heart, deciding to
adopt a child. No wonder Harrietta, with her intelligence and charm, had ended up an orphan.
Looking back, it all makes sense now. Tamara must have known about Hattie's identity for a long time. She knew
that Hattie was Zachary's child, her own granddaughter. That's why she took it upon herself to raise her. Hattie is
five now, which means Zachary conceived her even before we were married...
Lenora had never considered the possibility that Zachary could have still been a virgin while they were together,
especially with his ex-girlfriend, Susanna, in the picture.
She could overlook his past relationship with Susanna, but the fact that Zachary had a child out of wedlock
before their marriage was something she couldn't easily dismiss, even though she had grown fond of Harrietta.
Just yesterday, she had reassured Harrietta, promising that she wouldn't be sent away. Yet, here she was, facing
a reality that felt like life itself was playing a cruel joke on her.
From Zachary's reaction, Lenora could tell he had been unaware that Harrietta was his daughter. It wasn't that
he had intentionally kept it a secret, but the undeniable truth remained: he had a child with another woman.
They had reconciled, and once
again, they had a child together. She
had believed they were on the cusp of a happy future, but just as she started to believe it, reality hit her hard.
Perhaps this was the fate that bound her to Zachary-destined to cross paths, but never truly meant to be
together, forever unable to unite.
Lenora was overwhelmed by turmoil and agony.
She couldn't bear to hear the rest of the conversation. Without saying another word, she returned to the car and
told the driver, "Let's go."
"Where are we going?" asked the driver.
After sthought, Lenora gave him Sophia's address.
The car pulled up beneath the loft. Lenora stepped out and turned to the driver. "You can head back now."
She had a room and clothes at Sophia's place.
The driver hesitated for a moment before saying, "All right."
