“Yeah. Spitting it out would be uncivilized.”

“Perfect. None of us, have eaten yet. I'll invite him to join us in the dining hall.”

“I'll cook.”
An apology should cwith sincerity. Besides, Erica had told her earlier that Andrew was tough on the outside
but soft on the inside. Persistence was the key.
“You don’t have to trouble yourself.”
“It’s no trouble. None of us have eaten anyway.” Debra dismissed him with a wave and hurried
downstairs.
Randy and Erica cback from their candlelight dinner. Debra grabbed them and sat them down in the living
room.
“What's going on?” Randy asked, confused. “Isn't your wedding banquet still a few days away? Are you throwing
a feast early?”
“Something like that. I'll cook for us.”
Erica chimed in, “But we already ate.”
“One more meal won't hurt.” Debra dashed off toward the kitchen without giving them a chance to refuse.
Randy turned to Erica. “What's up with her? It’s 8 p.m. already. By the tshe’s done, will it even still be
dinner?”
“Maybe she’s trying to apologize;” Erica replied.
Deep down, she thought it might be better if Debra just groveled instead of cooking.
Debra quickly prepared food in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Barton wheeled Andrew downstairs.

“Quite the crowd tonight,” Andrew remarked in a flat tone, his gaze drifting toward the kitchen where Debra was
bustling about. “I didn’t expect her to cook on her own.”
Erica laughed dryly, praying Debra would finish cooking quickly. She couldn't stand sitting at the stable as
Andrew and his frosty demeanor.
Tticked by. By 10 p.m., the group was still at the dining table, waiting.
Just then, Marion cback, looking exhausted after another long day preparing for the wedding.
He frowned at the scene. “Are you bullying Debra?”
Randy and Erica frantically shook their heads.
Debra finally cout of the kitchen, carrying two dishes. She brightened upon seeing Marion. “You're back.
Wash your hands and eat.
Marion had already eaten earlier during the wedding dish tasting. But seeing the effort Debra had put in, he
smiled and said, “Calllucky. | haven't had dinner yet.”
Randy almost blurted out the truth; but one sharp look from Marion shut him up.
