They pulled vials and herbs out from under their black and dark red cloaks. I heard them chant in an unfamiliar language but parts of it I seemed to recognize. Avery...Avery cback to us." Then he kissedwhich made the vision fade. "Avery, did you see who chanted that?" Cassius asks. I nodded and told them what I saw and heard. Cassius embracedand said, "You and Conner can purify the water supply. Clint and I will go into the human world to restock every tribe member's households." I look up at him. "What if someone in the tribe was one of those figures or is responsible for them attacking our tribe?" He lowered himself so that he was at eye level with me. One of his eyes and one of Asher's now looked back atas he asked, "If that is true, could you sense them?" I chewed my lip, "Maybe. It began to clear and I could see all of the life in the river as if I were looking through a window. When he removed his hand, everything returned to normal. “I cleansed it. Soon clouds formed in the sky and a lightning bolt shot from my hand into them. A loud clap of thunder rumbled and shook the ground under our feet. Conner pulledinto his arms as the rain began to pour down. It was cool and warm at the stand made everything smell so crisp, clean, and new. He liftedinto the air and spunaround.
