After a lengthy rant, Allen softened his tone. "Alright, fine. | get it. You're just like me- following orders, doing
your job, and catching all the heat when things go wrong.
"Out of sympathy for our shared misery, I'll clue you in. My boss just called me, askingto investigate Tanya
Goodwin. Her father's disappearance might have something to do with Tanya. Pass that along to your boss but
tell him that this is his last chance. If he screws it up again, I'm done sticking my neck out for him."
