Chapter 69 Serena spent a night at the hospital before finally returning to Rosewood Gardens.
As soon as she stepped inside, she almost bumped into Aaron, who was coming down the stairs.
His eyes were filled with concern, but upon seeing Serena, he froze for a moment before speaking in a cold tone, "Where have you been?" The accusatory note in his voice made Serena frown with annoyance.
"I'm not obligated to tell you my whereabouts," she replied, turning to head upstairs.

Upon returning, he expected her anger, yet she surprised him with her understanding of his frequent travels.
